The customer-facing version of our operating standard is intentionally simple: understand the aircraft and authority, inspect before contact, execute only the approved cosmetic scope, then verify the cabin before handoff.

Prepare before touching the aircraft.

We confirm the customer, aircraft, location, scope, work window, access and sensitive areas before service begins.

Every technician has stop-work authority.If a task crosses the cosmetic boundary, the correct move is to stop, secure the area, notify the authorized contact and wait for direction.

Acrylic & transparencies

Grit control, dedicated clean media, compatible products and straight-line technique protect sensitive aircraft transparencies.

Sensors & ports

Pitot/static areas, sensors, antennas, vents and similar zones are treated as protected areas—not places to improvise with spray or equipment.

Interior electronics

Product is controlled around avionics, screens, controls and electronics. We avoid direct spraying and disassembly.

Leather, carpet, fabrics, metals and specialty surfaces are inspected and test-treated when appropriate before full application.

Loose grit is removed first, verified products are used, and wiping follows controlled straight passes rather than casual circular polishing.

Product control matters most near avionics and switches. Approved product goes to the towel or applicator—not directly into controls, seams or electronics.

Training before independence

A video is not a qualification.

Apex technicians are expected to understand the why behind the process, demonstrate the work in practice and show sound stop-work judgment before working independently.

That matters because aircraft care is situational. A checklist helps, but judgment, material awareness, FOD discipline and respect for maintenance boundaries are what keep a routine detail from becoming an avoidable problem.
